Folding scissors

From the second half of the 19th century, industrial development produced a multitude of ingenious inventions. Numerous domestic items benefitted from this momentum, as is the case of these folding scissors, the original model being developed at the beginning of the 20th Century. They are still produced by the same family in Nogent-en Bassigny, the scissor capital of France.

Among other, these scissors could be found in the reknowned Manufrance catalogue right up until the 1960s. They are perfect travelling scissors.

Apart from back stocks, all our scissors are now marked with the brand SAJOU to avoid copies. Each pair of scissors is decorated with a SAJOU ribbon and comes complete with an illustrative postcard.

They are presented in traditional cardboard boxes in either orange or blue in function to availability and are protected by tissue paper.

ATTENTION: we confided the production of these scissor to a small family based workshop. From time to time they may be out of stock. This will only be temporary because, along with other models that we will be bring out before the years' end, they are certain to become part of SAJOUs' classic models.
