To celebrate its' comeback (see Heritage), the famous brand Fil Au Chinois has reproduced the packaging of their linen thread, sold in capsules in bygone days.

This linen thread, lightly waxed to make sewing easier, is made in the north of France, the birthplace of du Fil Au Chinois.

The top label has one of the oldest illustrations of the famous "Chinois", a character whose form evolved over the years.

Length of spool: 50 m - Colour of thread: turquoise.

Size of capsule: diametre, 3.5 cm - height, 2.5 cm.

The colour of the surrounding labels may vary according to availability: they are either black, blue or deep red.
